We are a group of active adults who are looking for others to join us in social outings, movies, game nights camping, hiking, bike riding, kayaking and anything recreational including playing softball, soccer, tennis, badminton, touch football, basketball, and go roller skating (rollerblading), as well as other indoor or outdoor ideas we come up with as a group. The Villages Young Professionals has one main aim: gather young professionals to socialize (age: under 40). The Villages is virtually recession-proof. As a result, the area is home to an increasing group of young professionals. However, there is one problem...it is a retirement community! The solution: get a bunch of young professionals together at one time to meet, have a few drinks, laugh, and converse. Down the road we may do something civic or noble, but for now, we'll just socialize.
